Manual Weed Removal
Some weeds are best removed through manual weed removal, usually with a hoe or similar tool. However, some weeds are not suitable to remove in this way, and the method does not lend itself to removing weeds over larger areas. Yet, if you have decided to remove your weeds manually it is important to be correctly equipped. Supply yourself with long handled tools, boots and thick gardening gloves, equipment which works to minimize the risk of contact between you and any harmful, possibly disease carrying, weeds which you are looking to remove.

Chemical Weed Removal
If, on the other hand, you have decided to remove your weeds chemically it is important to be aware of the distinctions which exist between the two main types of chemical weed killer products. These are, namely, selective weed killer and general weed killer, like Roundup. The selective type targets specific weeds and causes minimal harm to surrounding plants, whereas general weed killer will target indiscriminately any plant with which it makes contact.
