A guide to weeding
Weeding is a necessary and important part of maintaining your garden. Some weeds can pose more of a problem than others, depending on how quickly they spread, and how invasive they are. It is best to weed your garden regularly in order to prevent weeds from becoming too established. They are generally easier to manage when they first appear.

Weeding advice
Sometimes it is possible to remove weeds manually, if the weed does not cover too much ground. However, manual weeding is not always practical. This is often the case with weeds with underground stem systems that can re-root if even just a little piece of the stem is left in the ground. Often the easiest solution is to use a weed killer. Roundup is a practical solution because it kills the whole weed, including the roots, meaning that it won't come back. Because the weed killer deactivates when it reaches the soil, you can continue planting after usage.
